The development any large energy project requires the support of the community and this plays an important role in every stage of the development process.

Community involvement starts with public meetings such as open houses, where the project is presented, information is circulated and discussed, and all relevant issues raised by the community are addressed.

This process is generally followed by the development of the environmental impact assessment study, which must contain solutions to all relevant community issues that have been raised. Once the development of the wind farm has started, and the wind farm is in operation the community will continue to play an active role, and Xenerco is committed to working with local communities and stakeholders in order to ensure that the project has a smooth relationship with the community throughout it’s lifetime.
