Overview
Xenerco was established to become a regional leader in the generation of clean and renewable energy.
In order to reach this goal, the company is working hard to develop an important and fast growing portfolio of projects that will allow it to grow both in Chile and in the Region.
The first goal has been to solidly establish Xenerco within Chile, to then use this as a base from which to explore new investment opportunities in other countries.
Wind Energy
Wind is one of many types of renewable energies; renewable energies are generally considered to be naturally replenished sources of energy, some of which are:

| • Tides. |
The use of wind as a source of power has been around for over a thousand years, powering mills, church organs, water pumps, as well as many other machines and devices.

Punta Alcalde Wind Farm
Xenerco has recently won the bid to develop the Punta Alcalde wind farm for CMP.
This process is being coordinated through EcoCap, the renewable energy area of the CAP group.
